BBQ Country Style Ribs

What’s better on a lovely summer day than some grilled BBQ Country Style Ribs?!

To start, preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit and then get your pork rub made. Our pork rub is comprised of a variety of some of our favorite spices, ranging from smoked paprika to onion and garlic powder. You can either use our spices or get creative and make your own blend!

Mix all of the spices in a large bowl and drizzle some olive oil in a deep pan. Rub some of the spices on one side of the ribs and place spice side down on the oiled pan. Rub additional spices on the side facing up. Next toss the precut onions in the remaining spice mixture and top the ribs with onions and cover with some aluminum foil, make sure to leave a small opening on the sides to allow them to vent while cooking. Place them in the oven and cook for an hour and a half to two hours, or until tender. For some added flavor, you can add a pan with some beer in the oven and allow it to steam the ribs as they cook.

About 15 minutes before you pull the ribs from the oven, fire your grill so it has time to heat up. Once you pull the ribs from the oven, coat them in some bbq sauce of your choice and cook them on the grill for about ten minutes to get a nice char to your ribs. Top the ribs with the onions and bon appetite!
